| Safety Data Sheet In the past Lapinus Fibres bv has been drawing up a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for each product, resulting in hundreds of different SDS in many languages. Many of the products have the same basic chemistry, which is actually determining the information held in the SDS. To be able to react swift to future SDS changes, Lapinus Fibres bv redesigned the set-up of the SDS-system and – in some cases – the identifying name in the SDS. The new system will also be a simplification for customers taking more than one product : Roxul®1000 grades (Rockbrake®, Rockseal®, Rockforce®) within European Union outside European Union - English - English (USA) - German - Brazilian - French - Chinese - Swedish - Spanish - Italian - Dutch CoatForce®/Spinrock grades within European Union outside European Union - English - English (USA) - German - French - Spanish In the coming years legislation like REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals) and GHS (The Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling Chemicals) will largely affect the content and lay-out of Safety Material Sheets (SDS). Each change requires a mailing to our customers with information on the topic and the newest SDS. Today's newest SDS has been changed to the minimal requirements of REACH. Any further adaptions will be communicated to our customers directly -receiving the newest SDS- and updating this website. For remarks, questions please address : Roermond, April 2008 |
